Denver Post Endorses Jay Fawcett!

  • by: Zappatero

Tried to sneak it in on us. Denver Post “Easy Choice”.

Then:

“Fawcett is a church-going decorated veteran of the Gulf War who will fight for veterans rights. He is a gun owner who will advocate for sportsmen. He believes in tough border security and labor laws that will stem the influx of illegal immigrants.”

  1. county really care what the Denver Post says or thinks?
How many people here even subscribe to the Post?
I have been noticing in the Gazette more and more people are writing letters to the editor about this race. Funny thing is that most are supporting Lamborn.
Fawcett has an uphill battle and in my humble opinion I don’t think he can make it.
But as I said yesterday, it ain’t over until the fat broad sings. No matter how much wishing and hoping goes on.
El Paso County is solidly Red and I’m sure will stay that way for years to come.

    (Thank the gods)

      1. I was for Lamborn all along. But not to even the slightest degree of excess.
I vote at every opportunity and follow with mild interest what is happening. But for the most part my opinion is that if you throw them all in a sack, Dems and Reps, shake them up, when you dump ’em out with flour on ’em you can’t tell one from the other
A politician is a politician. I don’t care if he/she is red/blue/purple. They are in it for the power and glory.
They say they want to represent the people but come on, this has been going on for centuries.
They are all crooks to differing degrees…….

My humble blue collar opinion or course.

          1. With Gecko, what you see is what you get.  His opinions are often painful to read, sounding much like some southern relatives of mine, but at least you know what you have.  Long live the Gecko!

  2. If he has the money, he should run full-page ads highlighting that editorial in every paper in his district, where the Post’s hard left views aren’t well known.
